L’endroit est absolument paradisiaque, particulier par son charme et son histoire. C’est le lieu approprié pour les amoureux de la nature, des baleines qu’on peut observer à partir du rivage. La profondeur du St Laurent, extrêmement importante, permet aux gigantesques baleines d’apparaître à proximité des rochers. Une vingtaine d’<a href="http://www.dailymotion.com/visited/search/tadoussac/video/xcl9f_baleine">espèces</a> côtoient le St Laurent. Plus fréquemment le Rorqual et Le béluga. Le St Laurent appartient également aux oiseaux. Le fleuve représente pour eux une source de nourriture. Les oiseaux de différentes variétés sont là parfois par milliers, venant se reposer sur les trois petites îles situées face aux terrains, avant de se déplacer au ras de l’eau presque aussi salée que dans l’océan, renfermant des tonnes de substances nutritives qui remontent à la surface par un courant conduit par les marées.
